Field data collection is taking place for Food Supply and Safety Policy Evaluation

The country-led learning-by-doing evaluation of the Food Supply and Safety Policy (Decree No 36) of Mongolia is ongoing between November 2025 and October 2026.

The purpose of this evaluation is to provide evidence-based recommendations for the next phase of this initiative, and to evaluate effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, impact, integration and mutual responsibility of the intervention.

The evaluation team is undertaking field data collection on April 26 - May 31, 2026 from representative of national and subnational policy makers, policy executing agencies, banks, loan receiving businesses, academia, NGOs and international organizations.

Evaluation report will be finalized and made available for public in October-November, 2026.
