Started undertaking the 'Country-Led Learning-By-Doing Evaluation of the Food Supply and Safety Policy (Decree No 36) of Mongolia'

Mongolia's first country-led evaluation started with leadership of the Authority for Government Supervision and support of German Institute for Development Evaluation /DEval/ and EvalConnect last month in Mongolia. Cognos International LLC - Research & Evaluation Company evaluation team comprising team leader (Erdenechimeg Ulziisuren) and young and emerging evaluators (Uyangaa Munkhbat, Khongorzul Mijidsuren) embarked 'Country-Led Learning-By-Doing Evaluation of the Food Supply and Safety Policy (Decree No 36) of Mongolia.' The evaluation will be completed and shared by October 2026.

One of the key characteristics of this evaluation is to strengthen government capacity on how to carry out policy evaluation through 6-times trainings jointly facilitated with DEval, so that the national capacity is built to manage and conduct evaluation of public policies and programs.
